Alcoholic beverages are not allowed while operating any California GO! designated vehicle. No person may posses or consume alcohol while operating a vehicle. No person should report for duty while under the influence of alcohol. The Owner is legally authorized and empowered to search any part of the vehicle at any time for alcoholic beverages or any other contraband (based on reasonable suspicion). Any person in violation of this policy is subject to immediate removal as well as additional actions that may include, but are not limited to, administrative actions involving the person involved.
Illegal drugs
All illegal drugs are completely forbidden. The Owner is empowered to conduct searches of personal effects as well as any space inside a California GO! designated vehicle if any reasonable suspicion that illegal substances may be present.
Marijuana
Several states have legalized the use of recreational marijuana. However, this drug remains a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance under Federal guidelines. Therefore the possession or use of marijuana in any form is prohibited.
Your agreement to comply
Everyone who operates a California GO! designated vehicle is required to affirm that they understand and will abide by our policies regarding drugs and alcohol.
